On Monday November 28th, after racing Ironman Cozumel, a group of MORE Than Sport athletes gave up their rest day by the pool for a different kind of recovery.  Fresh off their race, these athletes spent the afternoon hosting swim lessons with the Cozumel Municipal Sports Department and a team of budding future triathletes.

Professional Triathlete Matt Russell and Coach Tony Ferreira Da Silva joined 5 other athletes for this great afternoon.

It was "such a success!  The kids were in Heaven!"

Additionally, amateur triathlete Michelle Barnes is raising funds to donate to the Chrysalis Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial scholastic support for the island’s students.  Mexican public school students must provide their own uniforms, school shoes and school supplies and high school students must pay an inscription fee for each semester. Due to this, many families in Cozumel struggle to send their children to school.
