A tragic earthquake struck Nepal on April 25th, being the most powerful disaster to have happened in Nepal in over 80 years. As of today 5,500 people have died from this incident, at least 11,000 have been injured, and 70,000 homes have been destroyed from this 7.8 magnitude quake. This event is truly devastating, but in brokenness there is room for restoration.
A crew of 7, including professional climbers, were at Annapurna for a climb when the earthquake took place. Hearing of the tragedy the crew decided helping the people of Nepal was more important and abandoned their climbing plans to head down to Pokhara on foot. This team is highly trained, motivated, and ready to help in any way they can. Join us in raising money to send them supplies so they can bring hope while helping the people of Nepal.
