Time Well Spent is a group of four young men from different walks of life, all brought together by their love of surfing and the ocean. Each member has endured significant hardship in their life, and as a result was inspired to give back and help others. In January, the guys from Time Well Spent teamed up with More Than Sport to distribute 25 water filters in Panama, ensuring clean drinking water for 1250 people. These filters were supplied by Drink Maple, and were discussed by the boys from Time Well Spent in an interview with Surfing magazine (excerpt below):
Heavy. And besides getting shacked all day, what have you guys been up to in Panama?
Yeah, there’s been a lot of surfing, but we’ve also been able to build a home for a family in need with Homes of Hope. Kross was even able to hand the keys over to the family. We have also been able to provide water filtration systems to a local village on the island of Bastimentos in Bocas Del Toro through More Than Sport. Other than that, the boys have been pulling double and triple sessions in Bocas and scoring some of the best waves of their lives.
We are thrilled at More Than Sport to have teamed up with the inspirational and generous people of Time Well Spent!
