Michelle was born in Truckee, CA and has been skiing since she was a one year old. She began racing competitively at the age of 6 and competed in the junior olympics at ages 13 and 14, before turning professional at the age of 15. Her career started off competing in Slopestyle and half pipe events at X Games, the US Open, and the Dew Tour.
